For over 15 years we have been proud to host talented college students from around the country as legal interns in the Marzulla Law Intern Program. Our program gives undergraduate students a hands-on introduction to the practice of law, providing them with real-world experience as they consider careers as lawyers or legal professionals. Most of our interns go on to complete law school, and from there they accept clerkships or move directly into a federal agency position or into a law firm, where we continue to follow their impressive careers.
Our interns are generally accepted through The Washington Center (TWC), an educational nonprofit based, like our firm, in Washington, DC. As TWC states, the intern “experience goes beyond internships to give [students] the professional development, connections and guidance [they’ll] need to pursue a fulfilling career.”
“Our practice is greatly enriched by having such bright, capable, and enthusiastic young people spend a semester working for us,” Nancie Marzulla explained.
Our paralegal, Cameron Ganong, was an intern with Marzulla Law during his undergraduate days. He now manages the intern program. Said Cameron, “During my internship at Marzulla Law, I was fortunate to learn directly from some of the most dedicated and talented attorneys in the field. The hands-on experience and mentorship I received truly shaped my understanding of the legal profession. Returning to the firm as a Paralegal has been a life-changing experience. I’m especially grateful to now be in a supervisory role for our new interns, where I have the opportunity to work with and support them as they begin their own paths in the legal profession.”
