Kylee Brown is from Earlham, Iowa, and is currently a junior at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. She will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law with a minor in Political Science. She is a Dean’s List Recipient and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Following graduation, she plans to attend law school with the hopes of acquiring her J.D. degree.

Outside of school, Kylee has a passion for law, more precisely environmental and agricultural law. She is currently involved in the Agriculture Club and Livestock Show Team at Buena Vista. In addition to her interests in agriculture, she is active in the Students Activities Board, Criminal Justice Club, and plays for the Buena Vista Women’s Soccer Team. She also devotes her time to volunteering with the Bacon Buddies, a program that she helped establish in Iowa which allows people with intellectual or developmental disabilities to show a pig at the Iowa State Fair or at various county fairs throughout the summer. When she has leisure time, she likes to spend it hanging out with friends, enjoying a good cup of matcha, or playing a pick-up game of any sport.

Kylee had this to say about her internship with Marzulla Law, LLC:

“My internship at Marzulla Law as a legal intern has given me invaluable legal experience which has allowed me to put skills such as legal writing and research into use. This internship has been incredibly hands-on and has given me a good idea of what life would be like post law school. Even though some of the responsibilities have been challenging, I cannot think of a better way to obtain real-world experience while working with some of the best in the industry.”
