Natalie Maki is from Lake Orion, Michigan, and is currently a Junior at Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History, a minor in Philosophy, and a concentration in Environmental Studies. She is a Dean’s List Recipient and an active student on campus. Following graduation, she plans to attend law school with the hopes of acquiring a J.D. degree.

Outside of school, Natalie’s interests lie in law and the environment. She is the social media coordinator for Kalamazoo College’s Eco Club and Climate Coalition. She also works as a camp counselor in the summers, spending much of her time outdoors. In addition to Kalamazoo’s Eco Club and Climate Coalition, Natalie is also involved in Kalamazoo’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, where she was selected to represent Kalamazoo’s Women’s Lacrosse team. When she returns to campus in the winter, she also hopes to establish Kalamazoo’s Aspiring Law Students Organization. Natalie is also a calculus tutor at Kalamazoo’s Math and Physics center. When she is not playing lacrosse or studying, Natalie enjoys going on road trips with friends.

Natalie had this to say about her internship with Marzulla Law, LLC:

“Every day I am reminded how lucky I am to be a legal intern at Marzulla Law. The office truly feels like a family, and I am doing meaningful, hands-on work alongside my colleagues. The internship is both challenging yet incredibly rewarding. I cannot wait to return to campus with all the knowledge I have acquired and relationships I have fostered from working at Marzulla Law.”
